The Micro Maxi scooter allows kids to "surf the sidewalk" like a skateboard. It's a smooth and easy ride.

I am just going to come right out and say it...  I LOVE these scooters!!!!

I researched these a few years ago. After reading all the reviews I could find and comparing them to other scooters, we decided to get these for all three of our boys as their big Christmas gifts: the Micro Maxi for the two older boys and the Micro Mini for the youngest. I am definitely a thrifty mama (I think I've mentioned this before,) but when I am looking for something that I plan to use frequently and want to last, I am willing to spend a little extra money for quality. Buying Micro Kickboard scooters was totally worth it!

Assembly is a piece of cake. All you need to do is snap the handlebar into the base and you're ready to roll! My kids are, um, not the most coordinated kids on the block, but were pretty much able to step on and take off. The Micro Maxi is designed with a sturdy three-wheel base, so there is a sturdy platform to stand on, and kids don't have to have to try to balance off the bat as they do with two-wheeled scooters. There are also two wheels in the FRONT of the scooter and the t-bar is for support, not for turning to steer. The rider simply leans to curve and turn the scooter for a smooth ride. It really is easy to ride and even my then 2-year-old was speeding down the sidewalk in no time. Did I mention they are fast too? :)

PS: One of Micro Kickboard's adult scooters is on MY wishlist! I can see it now: "surfing the sidewalk," wind running through my hair, having fun & making memories with my kids :)

I received complimentary products for the purpose of this review.  All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
