A Review of Christmas Town at Busch Gardens

A New Holiday Tradition in Tampa

By Catherine Fialla December 6, 2012
Busch Garden's invited my family to be among the first to experience Christmas Town, Busch Garden's holiday wonderland of lights, shows and SNOW!

WOW!

When we entered the park, it didn't seem like Busch Gardens, this was Christmas Town!  Colorful lights and decorations adorned the entrance to the park.

We feasted on chocolate chip and sugar cookies (my boys made ice cream sandwiches out of theirs) and some of the most delicious apple pie that I've ever tasted.  It was hard to choose between rich hot cocoa with whipped cream, yummy egg nog or tasty apple cider. I had a little sample of each. Ok, well, I guess you'd call my sample of hot chocolate a "BIG sample":)

We enjoyed hearing the story and song of the Three Kings: the Gifts of Christmas.

SNOW WORLD!!!!!!!

The kids (and adults) were so excited at the chance to see AND play in real snow. They even got to "sled" down a hill, build a snowman and make snow angels!

Having a "ball" throwing real snowballs!

I LOVED watching these giant inflatable snowmen waddle around!

We even got to visit with a few characters from Sesame Street!

Sining carols on the Christmas Town Sing-A-Long Train was a ton of fun!

The kids made it until after 10:30. We enjoyed a few last looks at the lights as we strolled out, ending a memorable evening at Christmas Town.
