All Persons Rotary Park
Cheerios is providing us books (lots of books!), boxes of Cheerios, fun activities, and an exclusive book giveaway that all attending will be in the running for.
We are also going to hold a book exchange! Now is a great chance to clean off your bookshelf. I know I've got a TON of books my kids have outgrown. We'll have an area set up for you to drop off your old books and pick out a few new-to-you books. Bring a few, take a few!
*Please do not go out and buy and new books for this event. Also, it is NOT necessary to bring books to attend.
The event is open to the public and completely free to those in attendance.
Feel free to invite any local families that you think would like to attend!
(RAIN DATE: MONDAY 4/28/14)

Please RSVP on our Facebook event or email me at catherinef@macaronikid.com

Over the past twelve years, Cheerios has distributed more than 78 million children’s books inside boxes, and donated $4.4 million to the national literacy nonprofit First Book, an organization that seeks to provide access to new books for children in need.
The storybooks are geared to children ages 2-8 years old and come printed in both English and Spanish.  This year’s book offerings from Cheerios – all by Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing – are: That’s What I’d Do (Jewel), Bear Says Thanks (Karma Wilson), 1-2-3 Peas (Keith Baker), Chicks Run Wild (Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen), Please, Baby Please (Spike Lee & Tonya Lewis Lee), and returning favorite Jump! (Scott M. Fischer).
For the second year, Cheerios will also feature a chapter book for older readers inside specially-marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios™. This year’s book, Phineas Cooks, was written for exclusive release in Cheerios boxes by Frances O'Roark Dowell, author of the Phineas series.
