Dear Macaroni Families,
I'm home from the 2014 Macaroni Kid Publisher Meet Up and full of inspiration and new ideas, but I came home with a much greater gift: patience. After taking a few days away for myself and my business, which of course I felt guilty about at first, I am a better mom. Honestly. I came home to the same chaos and crazy kids that I left, but it's been easier to deal with: with a calm voice... and a calm head. Us moms are often so reluctant to take time to ourselves whether our restrictions are guilt, time, money or simply lack of a trusted babysitter. I am here to tell you that just a little bit of taking-care-of-mama-bear can go a long way!
