Tampa will heat up this January and February when 1,500 horsepower, 10,000-pound monster trucks compete in side-by-side racing and the fan-favorite freestyle competition where each monster truck gets up to 120 seconds to “wow” the crowd with huge jumps, wheelies, truck-spinning donuts, flips, and the destruction of cars, vans, buses, motor homes and more.
Each show will be completely different – all 16 Monster Jam race teams will be different at each show! Highlighting the show on January 17th will be never before seen stunts, and Monster Jam superstar competitors including the tour’s only eleven-time World Champion, Tom Meents driving MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION; plus GRAVE DIGGER, ZOMBIE, EL TORO LOCO, AVENGER, MONSTER ENERGY, LUCAS OIL CRUSADER, the original MONSTER MUTT, the female-driven and hometown favorite MADUSA, and many more.
The completely different February 7th event will feature a different GRAVE DIGGER team driven by the sport’s icon Dennis Anderson, SON UVA DIGGER driven by Ryan Anderson, HOT WHEELS, ROTTWEILER, CAPTAIN’S CURSE, NEA, GUNSLINGER, ICE CREAM MAN, the female-driven MONSTER MUTT DALMATION, and more yet-to-be announced motorsports competitors.
Fans can go behind the scenes, meet the drivers for autographs and photo ops, and see the monster trucks up close at the Party in the Pits before both shows from 1:30-5 p.m. in Parking Lot 5 outside the stadium. Free Pit Passes are available at participating Southern Ford Dealers from December 29th through February 7th while supplies last, or purchase pit passes for $10 at www.ticketmaster.com when event tickets are purchased. Pit Passes will also be available for sale the day of shows at the stadium box office. Pit Passes, along with a valid event ticket, get fans into the Pit Area.
Fans can also have the opportunity to ride in a real monster truck before the show between 1-7 p.m. Fans can pick up a Free monster truck ride pass at participating Tampa area Circle K locations beginning December 29th through February 7th (while supplies last). Ride Passes, along with a valid event ticket, get fans the ride of their life on a real Monster Jam Ride Truck (riders are taken on a first come first serve basis).
Saturday, January 17th and Saturday, February 7th Gates Open at 5 p.m. Opening Ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Racing Starts at 7 p.m.
