Macaroni Review: Simply Fun ~ High Tail It

I have had the chance to check out games from Simply Fun in the past. One thing that I LOVE is that at the heart of Simply Fun's award winning products is the core belief that children learn through play. This goes right along with everything I learned in my education to become an early childhood professional. When children play Simply Fun's games, they are learning and connecting through interactive play!

This time we played High Tail It, a strategy game. With it's colorful kangaroo pieces, you might think that this is a "little kids" game. Although some younger kids may be able to play, it is recommended for ages 10+.


Once you know how to move the "roos" the game is easy to play, but this is definitely a game of strategy. It is easy to see how kids are using spatial reasoning and memory skills while playing this. There is also the opportunity for teamwork :) I am always looking for unplugged things to do with my kids, especially the oldest. I am sure that we will be breaking out this game again for family game night!
