Macaroni Kid Brandon Takes on SCREAM-A-GEDDON

September 23rd- November 5th

By SCREAM-A-GEDDON November 3, 2016
It was a rainy night in October. In fact, it was the eve of Hurricane Matthew. Denise from Macaroni Kid Bradenton & I headed up to Dade City to check out this year's Scream-A-Geddon!

We had a blast, rain & all. I actually think the rain added an extra degree of eeriness to the night!

Our first stop: Bedlam 3D. Clowns are creepy. With all that's been going on in the news with people dressed up as clowns, clowns are extra creepy. Tons of fun and lots of screams in this colorful, crazy funhouse!

Next we entered the Blackpool Prison, Scream-a-Geddon's newest attraction. I've never been to prison and have no intention of going. "Get me outta here!" was all I could think as I moved through the cells and encountered the prisoners...and guards!

Walking Dead and zombie fans are sure to love Infected. It's just like being in a zombie movie. The Infected are everywhere and there is a part with a school bus that had me feeling like I was in Fear The Walking Dead.

Scream-a-Geddon's outdoor location makes Dead Woods even creepier because you are, well... actually out in the woods! Your group is given sonly a single glow stick see through the black night. I'm not sure if the light is a blessing or a curse...

The Monster Midway is a great place to take a break, get a snack & interact one on one with the monsters. One was hanging out under my umbrella and I'm pretty sure that i was being followed.

The Cursed Hayride has been redesigned this year, with surprises that you won't want to miss!

Oh, and I forgot to mention the interactive exhibits. maybe I "forgot" because, event though this was my second visit to Scream-A-Geddon, I'm still not brave enough to opt in and put on the glow necklace. Those who opt-in for a truly interactive experience may be grabbed, held back, sent into hidden cells, removed from their group, or even forced to remain...

I had a great time a Scream-A-Geddona and can't wait until next year. Who knows, maybe I will be feeling braver then :)
