Step right up and join the carnival of fun! Play classic and brand-new mini-games with Carnival Games on the Nintendo Switch! Try the ring toss, knock down some clowns, test your batting skills or join a space race. With twenty mini-games to choose from, there's a game for everyone!

Carnival Games for Nintendo Switch feels like playing the classic games we grew up with, but with a burst of new technology, including better graphics (no disrespect to old school 8-bit :)  ), motion control, and, of course, a cheery carnival theme. The games are easy to learn - I'm talking to you, little kids who just can't wait to play with your older siblings AND older adults who aren't quite comfortable with technology and video games - but challenging enough that you'll want to play them again & again.

It's also pretty cool because up to four players can play at a time. (The Switch comes with two controllers, so you will have to get two more controllers to get the most out of this game.) Since up to four people can play at once, Carnival Games is a game that the whole family can enjoy and bond over. I often wrestle with managing video game consumption in my house, but I don't feel bad playing Carnival Games on the Nintendo Switch because it's a game we can play together!

We took advantage of the four-players-at a-time setup and the kids had a blast. Some kids even enjoyed being spectators-- which was great because I somehow managed to fit seventeen kids in my living room! "Batter Up" was the very first mini-game we tried, and it was a hit. The motion controls make it even more realistic and adds to the game excitement. Favorite games of the day also included "Cosmic Strike" (cosmic bowling,) "Ghost Blaster" and "Swish" (basketball). Tip: When you first begin only some of the games are available. You have to earn tickets playing those games to unlock the others.

Carnival Games for Nintendo Switch is sure to become a family game night favorite. It's fun for all ages, including Mom & Dad. Hey, thirty-somethings and ...um, forty-somethings can have fun too :)

Another fun option: With the Nintendo Switch's portable screen, you can bring Carnival Games anywhere for an on-the-go party!

The kids had a blast and a Carnival Games is a perfect party game. I'm pretty sure it made the wishlist of at least a few kids at the party. I know that my kids are definitely hoping Santa will bring them a Nintendo Switch and Carnival Games this Christmas!
