PirateFest Weekends returns ashore to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort starting tomorrow. Adventure awaits families around every corner January 22-23, 29-30, and February 5-6 with spectacular shows, exclusive character meet-and-greets, tasty treats and awesome activities. Junior pirates and their crew will build vacation memories to always “treasure” together - and it’s all included in theme park admission.
Live It Up with LEGO ® Pirates + Epic Entertainment
Catch LEGO® characters while they are ashore and on the lookout for treasure, such as Captain Redbeard, Pirate Princess, Zombie Pirate and Shark Suit Guy. Families and their junior pirates can also immerse themselves in the “ways of the pirate” through exclusive entertainment offerings including the interactive swashbuckling show, Academy of Arrrgh! and original musical, Treasure Behold, at LEGO® City Stage. Families can also join Captain Brickbeard and Calico as they train new pirate recruits in the “stuntacular” ways of the sea in Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show.
Enter to Win the Ultimate Treasure: A College Scholarship
Although our LEGO® Pirate friends are on the hunt for gems and jewels, there is no treasure greater than education. During PirateFest Weekends, LEGOLAND® Florida Resort and partner, Florida Prepaid, will reward two Florida families 2-Year Florida College Prepaid Plan scholarships at myfloridaprepaid.com/scholarship valued at approximately $8,000 each. Guests can also enter by scanning the QR Code featured in the deep-sea scavenger hunt sponsored by Florida Prepaid.
The scholarship-winning families will be selected at random after the contest closes at 5 p.m. on February 6. Parents, grandparents, or guardians must be 18 years of age or older and legal Florida residents to enter the contest. At the time of entry, children must be 8th grade or younger to be eligible. Open Enrollment for Florida Prepaid Plan is open starting February 1 through April 30. Prepaid Plans are designed to help families maximize their college savings by picking a plan to fit their savings goals and locking in the future cost of college for less.
